About Us

Dr. John C. Theriot grew up in Pierre Part Louisiana and went to college at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. After graduation, he attended the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans for 4 years and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002. He then practiced in Houma, Louisiana in a group practice for approximately 6 months before moving to Lafayette to practice family dentistry. Dr. Theriot is a member of the Acadiana District Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Theriot enjoys spending time with his son Colin, daughter Londyn and his wife Jeannie. He also plays golf and runs in his spare time.

Dr. Kayla P. Soirez is a native of Erath, Louisiana. She attended college at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge before entering dental school at LSU in New Orleans. Dr. Soirez finished her dental education here in Lafayette in 2006 after being displaced by Hurricane Katrina and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Soirez worked at dental offices in the Acadiana area before finding her home here with us in July 2007. Dr. Soirez is a member of the Acadiana District Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association and the American Dental Association. In her free time Dr. Soirez enjoys spending time with her son, Cameron, and husband, Jeremy. She also enjoys watching sporting events and spending time with friends and family.
